In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Talent and other leaders across the enterprise to identify talent needs and develop innovative and best in class recruitment strategies to achieve the organization’s goals. Your strategic thinking, strong understanding of talent acquisition methodologies, and exceptional communications skills will be integral to creating a positive experience for candidates and everyone involved in the talent acquisition process. You will also be responsible for building relationships with operating company leadership, hiring leaders, Talent partners, and other key stakeholders across APi.
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $114,200.00 - $142,700.00 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. - Develop a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy to attract, source, and hire top-tier team members for APi group and its operating companies at all levels.
- Develop, coach, train, and mentor talent acquisition team members across the enterprise on people-first talent acquisitions practices to ensure we are ready to scale for the future.
- Lead APi’s early career programs including, the Leadership Development Program (LDP), Veteran Rotational Program (VRP), and APi internship program ensuring the enterprise is able to recruit and retain high-quality candidates by ensuring smooth onboarding processes and creating meaningful rotations and strong placements.
- Ensure that all early career program participants receive coaching and mentoring throughout their onboarding to quickly become effective in their roles. Create a strong community among program participants and graduates to help support their development and sense of belonging.
- Ensure close partnership with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative talent attraction strategies, messaging, and campaigns.
- Develop, report, and influence robust metrics to measure talent acquisition's effectiveness; identify trends, successes, and areas of improvement for performance enhancements.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for end-to-end talent acquisition processes and technology, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, while ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Develop global talent acquisition policies, processes, and legal requirements that align with local laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Provide relationship management to vendors and key partners to ensure quality of services and maximize return on investment. Partner with procurement and legal teams to ensure the right strategic partnerships are in place to deliver the hiring strategies across areas of talent attraction, sourcing and marketing for the areas of hiring you will support.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience developing global talent acquisition strategies to align with strategic business plans.
- Confirmed experience in identifying and executing key talent pipeline initiatives.
- Previous experience working in a global organization using both traditional recruiting technologies as well as emerging TA tech.
- Previous experience leading rotation programs, internships and other early career programs.
- Minimum of eight years of HR related work experience and five years of talent acquisition experience.
- Previous experience managing third party partnerships.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders as well as influence key stakeholders across the organization.
- Commitment to inclusive recruitment practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Adept with leveraging data to build KPIs/metrics, including determining, measuring, elevating, and monitoring performance on a regular basis, develop actions/strategies based on outcomes and story tell leveraging data.
- Previous supervisory experience.
