As the Technical Documentation Manager, you will help set the SaaS product strategy and help build and drive the roadmap to realize success for our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and own (gather, document, negotiate, and prioritize) product and customer requirements for the assigned SaaS organization.
- Develop and refine software product requirements and solutions to enhance the device lifecycle process for our connected-device customers (e.g., T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Dell, Amazon, etc.).
- Host and manage working sessions with customers to understand their challenges and document their requirements
- Ideate, define, and promote SaaS products and process vision and strategy for connected device lifecycle from manufacturing and certification to retail to forward and reverse logistics
- Productize current solutions and capabilities so they can be leveraged at multiple clients
- Become an expert with respect to our current SaaS solutions
- Ensure documentation quality through established processes, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather information and communicate progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in technical writing and documentation
- Strong understanding of technical documentation principles, best practices, and style guides.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and technologies
- 1 years of product management experience with mobile/connected devices, similar
- Demonstrated success bringing new mobile/tech/SaaS customer-facing products or
an iterative process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies is a plus.
