What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN / LPN/Outpatient Clinic Cardiology position at APN Consulting Inc.?
Minimum Experience: 4 years; 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Generally, patients are seen in clinic in afternoons M - W. Thursday clinic is usually 9am - 3:30pm. Mornings are admin work: obtaining images, patient follow-up, returning messages, surgical authorizations, etc. There are no nights, weekends, call, or major holidays working. When patients are in clinic, position requires working up patients, vitals, suture/staple removal, putting in electronic orders. LPN will need cardiology experience, cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.
Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with 1:10 patient ratio; average daily census of 5-12 M-W, 15-30 TH

Floating: Rare, but could be floated to another clinic
Call Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
