The System Administrator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing in-house computer software systems and network connections, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of critical systems that underpin core organizational functions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this role plays a key part in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to facilitate system provisioning and maintenance that aligns with company objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. With a strategic focus on technology advancement, the System Administrator evaluates and recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment to maintain the organization's technological edge. By providing technical support and expert guidance to users, both for end-user support of LAN-based/Cloud applications and workstation installation/configuration, the System Administrator ensures a reliable and user-friendly technology environment. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and needs to be detail-oriented and highly organized. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform network capacity planning
- Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, and all host security systems
- Research new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Administer and maintain the company's LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, Cloud Infrastructure, and intranet system infrastructure
- Administer and maintain Help Desk ticketing tool to respond to incidents, and document resolution in agreed upon SLA (service level agreement). Investigate and resolve end users' software/hardware problems while documenting issues in a "track request document in a timely manner. Assist in creating end-user documentation of standardized software as it relates to using company resources
- Maintain network and system security
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
- Provide system and network support to Canada and Monterrey
- Assist with Trading Partner and internal Customer Service inquires

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a system administrator
- Microsoft Office 365 Admin
- Azure
- Windows OS (Desktop/Server) Virtualization
- PC Troubleshooting
- LAN / Network Knowledge
- BA or BS in related field
- Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in-person and virtual meetings, telephone, and written communication
- Strong Presentation skills
- Works independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
