NetScaler Engineer (Citrix)

Title: Citrix NetScaler

Location: Ybor Data Center 1898 Nuccio Pkwy, Tampa, FL 33605

Duration: 12 Months contract (Preferably 3 days onsite 2 remote)

** Looking for a Citrix and Cisco router switch Engineer. Preferably 3 days onsite 2 remote**

• Design, deploy, and configure Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing, application delivery, and security.
• Develop and implement load balancing strategies to optimize application performance and availability.
• Manage and maintain Citrix ADC environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to Citrix ADC appliances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix ADC configurations and performance.
• Provide support for load balancing related incidents and requests.
• Collaborate with network and application teams to resolve complex issues.
• Implement and maintain security configurations in accordance with organizational policies.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Good Understanding of http, SSL, Various Authentication solution, Networking Basics, OSI model, preferably L7 protocols like http.
• Hands-on experience for implementation and configuration of Citrix (ADC)-Netscaler, ADM, Gateway, Various types of netscaler models SDX, MPX, VPX etc.
• Integrating Citrix xendesktop solution with Citrix gateway.
• Extensive troubleshooting skill of beak fix call related to Xendesktop/Netscaler/Gateway environment, and support technologies.
• Hands-on experience for Citrix Gateway, including load balancing, Content Switching, responder, rewrite, installing certificates, SSLVPN, Native OTP, ICA reverse proxy, doing irmware upgrades, HA, LLB, GSLB, etc.
• Lead netscaler application performance, troubleshooting and onboarding applications on netscaler.
• Ready to work in rotation shift in banking/insurance setup.
• Interacting with multiple stack holders of customer IT team, including system admins,vsecurity admins, application owners, DB admins, etc.
• Actively engaged in performing drills for production application from DC/DR switchover switchback.
• Coordination with citrix TAM, TAC for providing resolution for escalated production issue,

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Understanding new business requirement pertaining to netscaler technologies.
• Having experience on packet sniffing tools.
• Should be able to provide resolution for Open security VAPT points and providing resolution on best effort basis.
• Having hands-on on experience for netscaler SDX/VPX firmware upgradations in high availability.

Plus Cisco Network

• 6-8 years of experience planning/designing, implementing, and supporting new and existing network Devices
• Experience with Cisco routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points
• Experience Transferring configurations on Cisco Catalyst 9400 or other devices

• SolarWinds

Network design:

• Creating network architecture blueprints, including hardware selection, topology, and capacity planning.

Device configuration:

• Installing and configuring network devices like routers, switches, and load balancers.

Network maintenance:

• Performing routine checks, updates, and patching to maintain network stability and performance.

Troubleshooting:

• Identifying and resolving network issues, including connectivity problems, slow performance, and security breaches.

Security implementation:

• Implementing network security measures like access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.

Performance monitoring:

Tracking network performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize network usage.

• Citrix ADC (NetScaler) Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing, application delivery, and security, aligning with TECO Energy s migration project requirements.
• Network Infrastructure & Migration Experience: Successfully led large-scale network migration projects, including transferring configurations on Cisco Catalyst 9400 switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring minimal downtime during data center transitions.
• Firewall & Security Administration: Strong background in managing firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point) and implementing NAC, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools to maintain high security standards in network environments.
• Cisco Networking & Load Balancing Proficiency: Over 6 years of experience in designing and implementing Cisco networking solutions, including routers, switches (Catalyst 9200, 9300, 9400), and load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler) to optimize application performance and ensure high availability
