Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Enterprise Architect I supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD.
The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:
- Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution
- Enterprise Performance & Capabilities
- Enterprise Mission Management
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and assist in the execution of the NC3 Architecture Governance Plan.
- Collaborate with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).
- Coordinate with enterprise Data Governance Group (DGG) to develop the NC3 enterprise data standards and processes for architectural products in the NDMEE.
- Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.
- Development of detail architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed.
- Ingest, re-format (as needed), and publish the NC3 “As-Is” architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility Education: BA or BS degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, or an educational equivalent. Years of Experience: 3 years of experience working with NC2 capabilities, procedures, and platforms.- Experience should include developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Experience: Hands on working knowledge and experience in modeling tools such as Cameo, SparxEA, ETC.
