Position
Seeking a Tableau Analyst to support an Intelligence Client.
Required
- Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following disciplines:
- Business analytics
- Statistics
- Data verification and validation
- Data visualization
- Experience applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business analytics problems
- Experience creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures
- Experience translating customer requirements into project or system specifications
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans
- Experience using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar interactive data visualization software
- Demonstrated experience transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language, such as Python
- Proficiency using a data preparation tool, such as Tableau Prep Builder
- Experience using Excel and SQL
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems…or 4 years of relevant data analysis experience within the IC or military
- Experience with data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
- Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor business or mission data, Sponsor applications, or Sponsor database structures
- Experience with the Sponsor’s data handling procedures
- Demonstrated visualization tools, such as Jupyter, Visio, SharePoint, or Confluence
- Proficiency with APIs
- Demonstrated experience using GitHub, or similar version control systems
- Experience using Python or R
- Able to utilize critical thinking and analytic judgements and applying programmatic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in disparate datasets
- Proficiency using mathematical, statistical, or other data-driven analysis to address business questions
- Ability to Interacte with customers to coordinate requirements and resolve data questions
- Proficiency working independently or as a member of a team to research, organize, and analyze information
- Documenting workflows
- Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Expereince providing analytical judgement and trend analysis based on research and comparisons with past products
- Obtaining structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, synthesizing it, and presenting the results effectively and concisely in written and graphic form to internal and external stakeholders
