Job Title- Document Specialist
Location- Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration - 12 Month Contract
**This is a part-time, 25 hours/week job**
The Document Specialist is a vital contributor to the department’s compliance systems, ensuring that documentation processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the overall business objectives.
This position is responsible for overseeing document version control, ensuring that all documents are current, accurate, and easily accessible. The Document Specialist will review production records meticulously to maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
This position also focuses on improving workflows and enhancing communication among stakeholders to ensure efficient document management and operational effectiveness. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high-quality standards in all documentation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Documentation Review: Performing activities associated with disposition of product (e.g., document review, shipping), activities may be on the floor or at a desk
- Reviewing, editing, or approving controlled documents
- Time Management:
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate in English to diverse audiences.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with management of controlled documents in a regulated environment
- Ability to work to defined timelines and manage own time effectively
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in R&D and pilot plant environments.
- High School Diploma plus 3 years’ experience in industry
EXPERIENCE
• 3 Years hands on experience with Production Records Review
• May substitute proven experience for education requirement. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in R&D and pilot plant environments.
• Ability to work to defined timelines and manage own time effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Computer Literacy
