Production Operator
1st Shift - 12 Months

Shift Hours: 6am-4:30pm, M-Th, with Overtime on Fridays

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma not required but preferred.
1-3 years of machine operation experience.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate objects. The employee frequently communicates verbally with other associates. The employee occasionally reaches with hands and arms and stoops, kneels, or crouches.
Work Environment:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required including lab coats, hair/beard covers, shoe covers, gloves, ear protection, safety shoes, eye protection, and cleanroom suits as needed. May be working with calipers, Microscopes, Go-No Go gauges, Leak tester, Pull tester, and Keyence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe manner for everyone and actively participate in safety programs.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure only a quality product is shipped to our customers.
- Operate various machines including CNC Grinders, Molding Machines, Multivac Sealing Machine, Cutoff Machines, Laser Welder, and ECG Machines.
- Perform duties by following released procedures, machine programs, and parameters.
- Provide feedback on production and methods, product design issues, and continuously strive to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, Lead, and Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with GMPs and ISO 13485.
Requirements:
- Ability to read English proficiently, write legibly, follow simple diagrams/drawings, and complete documentation.
- Ability to perform changeovers and set up equipment.
- Ability to perform in-process inspection to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Able to focus continuous attention to work processes.
- Able to stand/sit for long periods of time.
- Able to use measuring tools such as calipers and Test Equipment.
- Basic math skills and computer skills required.
