Role: Safety Health & Environmental (SHE) Specialist
Location: Fremont, MI (Onsite)
Duration: 04 Months Contract
Job Description:
The Safety Health & Environmental Contractor is responsible for providing support to the Safety Health & Environmental Manager with the implementation and coordination of programs and projects related to Safety Health & Environment. Implement and participate in company Safety Health & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and training.
Experience/Background/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Safety Management or other related field
• 2 – 5 years experience in successfully implementing Safety, Health, and Environmental activities in a manufacturing setting or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• General knowledge of plant operations including production, maintenance, and warehouse
• Understand the safe operation and environmental impacts of equipment and processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with the ability to be able to communicate with audiences that have a broad range of background and understanding
• Ability to organize and prioritize

• Chemical SDS’s backlog
• HIC/HRAW Reviews and Updates
• Cority migration
• Zero Access machine guarding assessments
• Training content development
• Other tasks
