Apollo Dental is a busy and growing dental practice committed to providing exceptional care for our patients. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses primarily on insurance coordination while also supporting the front desk with day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for patients.
Assist the practice in transitioning to an out-of-network model with insurance companies.
Understand and utilize fee schedules for accurate billing and collections.
Submit and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries.
Perform general front desk tasks, such as check-ins, check-outs, and maintaining patient records.
Communicate insurance details clearly to patients and address any questions.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as an insurance coordinator in a dental office is required.
Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, billing, and fee schedules.
Experience with insurance transitions, including navigating out-of-network processes.
Eaglesoft software experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
