Pearl. Dentistry Reimagined is looking for an organized and patient-focused Insurance Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As the first point of contact for all things insurance, you’ll be the go-to expert for verifying coverage, guiding patients through their benefits, and ensuring their experience with us is smooth, stress-free, and five-star.
The Insurance Coordinator plays a critical role in making sure patients maximize their insurance benefits while ensuring claims are processed accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with the front desk, billing team, and clinical staff to keep things running seamlessly and provide top-notch service to every patient who walks through our doors.

We’re searching for someone who’s detail-oriented, thrives on solving puzzles, and has a knack for turning complicated insurance jargon into clear, helpful guidance for patients. You’ll need excellent communication skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask like a pro in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with dental or medical insurance plans and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of claims, pre-authorizations, and benefits coordination.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Confidence working with software systems (Microsoft Office and dental/medical practice software).
- A team-oriented attitude and the ability to build strong relationships with patients and coworkers alike.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Verifying patients’ insurance coverage and benefits.
- Accurately submitting and following up on insurance claims and pre-authorizations.
- Addressing claim denials, re-submissions, and appeals to ensure patients get the most from their benefits.
- Communicating with patients about their coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and financial options.
- Collaborating with the front desk team to schedule appointments and manage patient records.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- 2 years of experience in insurance coordination, preferably in a dental or medical office.
