Position Overview: We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Business Advisor specializing in Threat Intelligence to guide our clients. In this role, you will provide essential advisory services to clients on strategic cybersecurity, risk management, and threat mitigation decisions. Your expertise in understanding the evolving threat landscape and best practices in cybersecurity will be critical in shaping the clients’ business strategies and enhancing their security postures. This role will translate Human Threat Intel into business strategy for our clients. This position is ideal for an individual who is not only technically proficient in human threat intelligence but also possesses the strategic insight to drive organizational cybersecurity initiatives forward.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the intelligence team.
- Engage with high-profile clients, including Operational teams, C-Suite executives, and Board of Directors.
- Offer intelligence-driven strategic advice on cybersecurity mitigation, technologies, and best practices to transform the security of our clients.
- Assess organizational risk and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
- Provide intelligence driven strategic guidance to mitigate threats
- Engage with various teams on the client side, including IT security, compliance, and risk management, to weave threat intelligence into business operations.
- Effectively communicate threat intelligence findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Drive client success, value, and security transformation through ongoing consulting and advisory, utilizing Apollo Threat Intelligence
- Manage the entire client relationship, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value services
- Contextualize intelligence reports for clients, offering guidance and actionable risk reduction/mitigation strategies.
- Continuously assess and plan for pertinent threats and risks, advising clients on protection against emerging threats and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of each client’s security posture, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for security maturity and transformation.
- Manage the client onboarding process, including communication, documentation, and relationship setup.
- Assist in defining Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and conduct Stakeholder analysis exercises with clients for accurate reporting and risk identification.
- Work in tandem with assigned Intelligence Analyst and Account Executive to ensure client success and business retention/growth.
- Conduct Quarterly Health Checks and regular sync calls to align and create value through Apollo intelligence services.
- Share insights and mentor other Advisors on the team.
- Support the Executive Leadership Team and Threat Intelligence Service leadership in various client delivery, sales, and additional tasks as neede
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience of 10 years in mid-level to executive cyber security roles (e.g., CISO, Deputy CISO, GRC Director).Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, GMP).
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in translating complex technical data into business-centric insights.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CTIA) are highly valued.
- Proficiency in Cyber Intelligence Lifecycle and Information Security Frameworks.
- Skilled in presenting across business functions and operating environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks, standards, and platforms.
- Knowledge of common threat vectors, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with analyzing network traffic, logs, and other security-related data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
