Position Overview :
SHG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager with a robust background in healthcare market research and proven leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering accurate and timely proposals for healthcare market research projects. This role offers flexible working arrangements, blending remote work with in-office collaboration in our London office.
Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum of 3 years in account management within the healthcare research sector.
Demonstrated success in pricing strategy, feasibility assessments, and proposal management for healthcare market research projects.
In-depth knowledge of qualitative research methodologies and their application in healthcare contexts including face to face and online.
Strong collaborative leadership skills, fostering trust and motivation within teams and with clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates integrity and a strong service-oriented work ethic.
Adaptable and willing to learn in a nimble and fast paced environment.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Skilled with Microsoft Office especially Excel. Salesforce an advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the end-to-end proposal process for global accounts, ensuring pricing is competitive and aligned with profitability targets.
Drive sales by addressing client objections, highlighting SHG's unique value propositions, and securing project commitments.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of client requirements, crafting tailored solutions that meet both budget and timeline expectations.
Create concise and accurate handover notes to project management team, including client specific needs per project.
Work in collaboration with the PM team to problem solve and course correct through the project lifecycle.
Communicate the health of client accounts to BD to ensure growth, satisfaction and support of clients.
Stay abreast of industry news and trends in the healthcare market research industry, paying specific attention to clients and competitors in the European region.
Support the Business Developers in achievement of target booking and margin goals for assigned accounts.
Utilize internal CRM system (salesforce.com) for efficient tracking of bidding and other sales activity.
