Job Description :
Candidates will be helping with automation of existing functional testing scripts. Also assisting with development of testing strategies and best practices.
Designing and documenting test plans, scenarios, and procedures for use during quality assurance activities as well as standards, measurements, methods, and / or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
Provide authoritative advice and guidance on all aspects of training where appropriate.
Qualifications :
5 years IT quality assurance and systems / application with manual and automating tests experience.
Experience in designing, building, and executing UFT One (formerly QTP) automated scripts.
Experience with using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for writing test scripts from scratch.
Experience with Visual Basic Scripting and AI technologies, UFT One experience preferred.
Need a senior Automation resource who can assist in maintenance of existing frameworks and build new automation using UFT One and with re-writing / updating of existing manual scripts for automated testing to align with best practices.
Skills / Knowledge / Responsibilities
Assists with development of testing strategies.
Consults with users, providing advice and direction for automation.
Designs and documents test plans, scenarios, scripts, and / or procedures for use during testing and quality assurance activities.
Assist in developing and documenting quality assurance standards, measurements, methods, and / or procedures to determine product quality and / or release readiness.
Provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspects of quality assurance, including training where appropriate.
Experience / knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of software development and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including knowledge of industry accepted software testing best practices.
Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, information technology equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, and computer operating systems.
Experience in analyzing test plans and test scenarios to validate that the requirements are met within the application and / or business processes.
