Testing Analyst

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Quality Improvement Testing Consultant / Analyst to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Finance & Administration located in Nashville, TN. This is a remote position working from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $171.50 per hour.Testing Analyst Job Overview : The Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration is seeking a senior automation resource who can assist in the maintenance of existing frameworks and build new automation using UFT One and with re-writing / updating of existing manual scripts for automated testing to align with best practices. The candidate will be helping with automation of existing functional testing scripts and with the development of testing strategies and best practices, designing and documenting test plans, scenarios, and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness, and providing authoritative advice and guidance on all aspects of training where appropriate.

• Testing Analyst Job Duties and Responsibilities will include : -Assisting with development of testing strategies.-Consulting with users, providing advice and direction for automation.-Designing and documenting test plans, scenarios, scripts, and / or procedures for use during testing and quality assurance activities.-Assisting in developing and documenting quality assurance standards, measurements, methods, and / or procedures to determine product quality and / or release readiness.-Providing authoritative advice and guidance on any aspects of quality assurance, including training where appropriate.-Utilizing testing knowledge and experience to assess and / or recommend solutions.-Adjusting testing approach and / or practices to best facilitate quality within defined product solutions framework.-Utilizing test case management tool to enter and / or update test cases and report progress.Experience and Qualifications Needed for Testing Analyst position : -5 years of IT quality assurance and systems / application with manual and automating tests experience.-Experience in designing, building, and executing UFT One (formerly QTP) automated scripts.-Experience with using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for writing test scripts from scratch.-Experience with Visual Basic Scripting and AI technologies, UFT One experience preferred.-Experience / knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of software development and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including knowledge of industry accepted software testing best practices.-Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, information technology equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, and computer operating systems.-Experience in analyzing test plans and test scenarios to validate the requirements are met within the application and / or business processes.-Skilled in using HP / Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP / Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), SQL, XML, and Visual Basic () scripting language.-Hands-on software quality assurance (manual and / or automated testing) experience.-Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft preferred.Benefits Include : -Weekly Pay / Comparable Wages-Major Medical Insurance-Indemnity Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance-Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Interested?
