Business Analyst, Global Business Finance

Position Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the development, management, and strategic enhancement of Apollo's financial applications as a business analyst. This includes Apollo’s partnership accounting platform (Investran) and a suite of custom applications supporting investor reporting, waterfall calculations, performance measurement, and data modeling. You will also lead integration initiatives for these platforms, collaborating across teams to drive seamless implementation.

This role spans multiple domains, including Credit, Private Equity, and Real Estate. You’ll leverage your financial acumen, business analysis expertise, and technical proficiency to deliver impactful solutions. As part of a collaborative team of business analysts, you’ll partner closely with application developers, requiring technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements to inform application enhancements.

• Participate and lead in design sessions to create innovative IT solutions.

• Analyze current business processes to identify and implement efficient IT solutions.

• Collaborate with IT colleagues to leverage shared IT platforms.

• Manage communication with stakeholders regarding ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis and writing functional specifications.

• SQL proficiency strongly preferred.

• Expertise with the Investran accounting platform is strongly preferred.

• Fund accounting domain knowledge strongly preferred.

• Experience with PowerShell preferred.

• Experience with VBA/macros preferred.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.

Salary : $140,000 - $205,000
