Position Overview
The global Credit team manages north of $480bn USD in AUM across 16 offices and represents one of the Apollo’s core investment areas.
The APAC team focusses on private corporate credit, structured corporate credit (including securitisation), leverage and acquisition finance, and opportunistic situations. The core local credit team consists of two credit professionals (MD and Principal), but you will also support a broader team of 14 across real estate, asset backed finance, and client specialists.
Primary Responsibilities
Apollo Management invites you to apply for an internship opportunity. The role mainly involves assisting the evaluation of investment opportunities through the following:
- Conducting industry research
- Conducting company-specific due diligence
- Analysis of financial statements
- Financial modelling and valuation support
- Comparable analysis
- Preparation of briefing decks for screening and investment committee discussions
- Interns will be required to perform ad-hoc tasks not related to live opportunities including monitoring of portfolio investments and preparing market updates, as well as routine internal communication
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business or equivalent (minimum CGPA of 3.6/4.0 or equivalent)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Fundamental knowledge of capital markets, finance, accounting, and valuation
- Resilient, engaging, and personable with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and task oriented
- Strong interest in investments
- To start internship in May/June 2024 for a 6-month period (please specify if unable to commence in May 2024)
