Associate Graphic Designer
We are hiring an Associate Graphic Designer for our growing medical communications agency!

The Role
As an Associate Graphic Designer, you’ll be using your graphic design skills to layout and format visual elements for scientific publications, scientific posters, and a wide range of scientific communications for healthcare professionals. In this early career role, you will work closely with our stellar team of medical writers and editors, senior-level graphic designers, and account leads as you grow in your knowledge of industry-specific design and best practices.
More specifically, you will:
- Layout and revise digital and print media, such as scientific posters and meeting materials, and create and redraw scientific charts, graphs, and illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Microsoft Office applications
- Format and apply design concepts to existing PowerPoint presentations and create or apply new templates
- Provide design and production support for digital offerings such as HTML emails and interactive media as well as high-impact print pieces
- Apply applicable Apollo, client, and/or journal or congress branding and specifications to figures, tables, and other visual elements within project pieces
Who You Are
You should have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, applicable design experience [academic and/or professional], and a demonstrated acumen for concept-appropriate visuals and well organized, visually dynamic layouts. You are ready to join a fast-paced and growing agency where you will contribute to high-quality content and build strong relationships with your team. This position is based in our Guilford, Connecticut office.
Additionally, you bring:
- Skilled knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality checking completed work
- The ability to manage time effectively and organize personal workflows
- A team-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
