Senior Simulation HPC Engineer
Hybrid: 1 day per week – Boston
Apollo Solutions are working on behalf of a top investment firm in Boston to hire a Principal Software Engineer for their Compute Platforms team.
They are searching for a Senior Simulation HPC Engineer to build systems which play a key role in serving their investment research. You will develop high-performance simulations to model investment variations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with researchers to gain a deep understanding of requirements and design systems.
- Develop high-performance, scalable and fault tolerant software – Python preferred.
- Lead technical discussions, gather feedback and explore different solutions.
- Work in both AWS and on-premise Infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
- 5 years experience working in large scale, high-performance systems.
- Strong development skills in Python
- Experience with modern software development best practices, familiarity with cloud technologies – ideally AWS.
