Position Overview
Apollo is looking for a Director to join the Global Family Office tram within Apollo’s Client & Product Solutions (“CPS”) business, focused on supporting the development and execution of our Latin America strategy. The ideal candidate has helped run the day-to-day of a large LatAm-focused book, ideally within private equity, credit, or a multi-asset platform (including wealth management). This individual will be expected to contribute meaningfully from day one—while also being comfortable taking direction, learning the firm’s approach, and growing into a leadership role over time. A strong cultural fit and a commitment to collaboration are key. The role will encompass a broad spectrum of marketing and investor relations responsibilities focused on clients and prospects in LatAm, including:
- Develop a detailed understanding of the LatAm region, business plan, and client needs; partner with the GFO LatAm Lead to execute business plans for the client segment
- Collaborate closely with the GFO LatAm Lead and broader team to refine and implement effective fundraising strategies for Family Offices in the region
- Build and deepen relationships with key Family Offices, aligning their investment objectives with Apollo’s offerings
- Work with internal investment and product teams to develop a deep understanding of Apollo’s strategies and represent the firm effectively externally
- Position Apollo’s products and strategies in a highly commercial and client-centric manner
- Communicate market, investment, and business updates clearly across various client-facing formats
- Manage and coordinate fundraising initiatives, including meetings, roadshows, and events
- Partner with the GFO LatAm Lead to penetrate priority opportunities in the region
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative “One Apollo” approach across channels
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in financial services, with exposure to or coverage of Latin America
- Background in private equity, asset management, or wealth management platforms preferred
- Demonstrated track record in fundraising, investor relations, or business development
- Deep investment acumen and ability to represent alternative and public strategies
- Commercial, results-driven mindset with a strategic and entrepreneurial approach
- Team-first attitude; comfortable taking direction and building toward long-term leadership
- Excellent communication skills and presence across client segments
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments and prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong cultural fit with Apollo’s values—collaborative, client-first, and committed to excellence
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in a relevant field preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 required
- CFA, CAIA, CIMA, or other investment-related designations preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database tools
Pay Range
$175K - $235K

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
