AC LifePoints provides care in a wide range of settings including a 74-resident Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), two 12-16 bed ICFs, and 14 homes settings within the community of Morton. ACLP currently has a need for dedicated, caring, and capable individuals to join our team to provide care and daily active treatment of our residents in all settings. Our staff find the job of a DSP to be challenging and yet richly rewarding. It is also a great way to begin a new career path.
Although prior DSP certification is a definite plus, ACLP provides fully paid training and certification to those individuals hired who do not have the certification. Full and part time positions are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Duties:
- Support individuals in achieving personal outcomes that demonstrate a high quality of life.
- Support individuals to have optimal health and well being.
- Provide safeguards and appropriately support challenging situations.
- Positively represent skills to succeed and advocate for the rights of the residents
- Accompany individuals on medical appointments, jobs, and community activities
