This role is a WEEKEND ONLY PROGRAM where employee participants receive bonus hours in exchange for committing to weekends only. The number of bonus hours is determined based on the number of weekend hours committed to and worked.
AC LifePoints provides residential facilities and services to adults living with disabilities in a wide range of settings including a 74-resident Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), two 12-16 bed ICFs, and 14 homes settings within the community of Morton. ACLP currently has a need for dedicated, caring, and capable individuals to join our team to provide care and daily active treatment of our residents in all settings.
Prior DSP certification is a definite plus BUT NOT REQUIRED. ACLP provides training and certification to individuals hired who do not have the necessary DSP certification. Full and part-time positions are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Duties:
- Support individuals in achieving personal outcomes that demonstrate a high quality of life.
- Support individuals to have optimal health and well being.
- Provide safeguards and appropriately support challenging situations.
- Positively represent skills to succeed and advocate for the rights of the residents
- Accompany individuals on medical appointments, jobs, and community activities
