Position Summary :
APP Group is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Risk and Integrity America’s Region Deputy Head to join our team, to provide support for both risk and ethical functions. This is a highly unique and multifaceted role where the successful candidate will be responsible for compliance evaluations, internal investigations, third party due diligence, training presentations, and whistleblower hotline response. This role requires superior communications skills, both oral and written, a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into whistleblower reports and internal policy and legal compliance issues.
- Gather and analyze evidence, interview relevant parties, and document findings.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and recommendations.
- Perform third party due diligence assessments for existing and potential customers and vendors.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive risk evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on ethical standards, investigative practices and results, and related compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigations and risk assessments
- Support and openly share all knowledge acquired during risk assessments to improve the team’s experience, identification and mitigation of material risks.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the risk and ethics management processes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
