Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper / HR Administrator.
APP Properties (appjetcenter.com) is a domestic company operating four Fixed Based Operations at general aviation airports around the country and owning only hangars at a fifth general aviation airport. Fixed Based Operators provide corporate and business terminal and flight services, fuel, hangars, and other ancillary aviation-related services for non-commercial or general aviation passengers.
In this role your responsibilities will include managing financial tasks, including bookkeeping, account reconciliations, cash management, payroll processing and HR administrative tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving, an independent work ethic and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities :
- Reconcile cash daily and maintain cash worksheets for separate entities
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable using our accounting software.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process payroll, including calculating employee hours, deductions, and taxes using our payroll processing software
- Generate financial reports for the Controller to review.
- Prepare for and assist with audits as needed.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Handle confidential HR matters with discretion.
- Perform other tasks as required.
