Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. Duties
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial records.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess customer creditworthiness and manage risk.
- Maintain revenue cycle management by tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue accounts.
- Utilize PeopleSoft or similar accounting software for data entry and reporting.
- Handle medical collections with professionalism and adherence to regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, ensuring proper phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or disputes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
Skills
- Proficient in accounts receivable functions and financial concepts.
- Strong math skills for accurate calculations and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management practices.
- Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to conduct credit analysis effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
