Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, including hydraulic systems and electrical components.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance activities.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to support repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of hydraulics, high voltage, and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical sales when necessary for equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.
- A proactive approach to maintenance tasks with a commitment to safety standards.
- Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred but not mandatory.
