Job Summary:

As an Operations Specialist on the Commercial Underwriting Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end underwriting process for a leading insurance wholesaler. You will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and internal departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing of submissions, endorsements, policy issuance, and renewals. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

· Support the underwriting team by processing endorsements, binds, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner

· Monitor and maintain data integrity across underwriting systems, ensuring information is complete, current, and compliant with company standards

· Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to gather required documentation and resolve outstanding issues

· Prepare and issue binders, quotes, policies, and other transactional documents in accordance with underwriting guidelines

· Track and manage submission flow to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines are met

· Assist with the implementation and maintenance of operational workflows and process improvements

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and carrier-specific requirements throughout the policy lifecycle

· Identify and escalate any system or process issues to the appropriate teams for resolution

· Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction

· Assist with various operational processes and needs

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and communication

• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in insurance, business, or a related field
