Our ideal candidates are team-minded, self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Keep your passion alive by initially working 3 days/ week, approx 8-10 hr/week and grow a clientele to 20hr to 35hr/wk.

Responsibilities

*Provide customers with services such as cuts, shampooing, styling, colors, perms, updos, manicures, pedicures & facial waxes, braids, corn rows, hair smoothing, permanent hair straightening. *Advise on service frequency and appropriate products for the client to use *Answer the phone / schedule / re-schedule / adjust services when needed *Help maintain cleanliness of salon and your station *Follow the client journey format - will be provided when joining the team *Keep abreast of new hair and nail services & techniques *Keep abreast of new professional products for retail *Participate with marketing & advertising to walk-by traffic & through social media *Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

*Previous salon experience required - minimum 2yrs *Current PA Cosmetology license *Excellent communication and customer service skills *Strong attention to detail *Familiarity with salon scheduling software *Familiarity with social media - facebook, instagram, nextdoor etc (make posts on your personal page, join groups)

Wage Range

*$12/hr (up to 10hr/wk)- 1st month orientation || $12/hr tips - next 2 months (up to 10hr/wk) || $12/hr * tips - your own schedule (4th month onwards) *Sliding scale commission associated with products sold - both thru e-commerce and in-salon ** payment rate while providing services & increases as your book of clients increases
