Responsibilities
Under the direction of the supervisor, and following pre-established protocols and procedures, the Medical Assistant will perform clinical and clerical functions to prioritize quality patient care, prepare patients for physical examination, obtain accurate vital signs and history, conduct routine testing and record results, and administer immunizations. Duties also include taking phone calls and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred - Certified, Registered, or Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA or CCMA)
- Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evenings, and Saturdays
- Flexible to working either or both shifts: Morning shift: 7:45AM - 2:15PM. Afternoon shift 1:15PM - 7:45PM.
Skill Requirements
- Strong communication skills and computer knowledge/typing a must.
- Time management and multi-tasking ability
- Team-oriented and positive attitude
- Prior experience as a medical assistant is a plus

Office Hours
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 8am-7pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 8am-6pm
Saturday: 8am-2pm
Start and end times may vary based on patient care needs. Must be available to work two Saturdays per month.
