The Childcare Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and operation of our infant childcare center. This role involves teaching, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching: implement the provided curriculum for infants, aligning with state standards.
- Classroom Management: create and maintain a positive and organized classroom.
- Staff Supervision: oversee and mentor childcare staff, providing guidance and support.
- Operations Management: coordinate daily operations such as scheduling and stocking supplies.
- Safety and Compliance: ensure compliance with all state (Rule 3) guidelines and center policies.
- Parent Communication: build relationships with parents, providing regular updates and addressing parent concerns.
- Kitchen Oversight: assist the kitchen manager in maintaining the program's kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and quality
Qualifications
- Education: must be teacher qualified, or have a Bachelor's degree in any field
- Experience: must have experience working in childcare
- Skills: strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for early childhood education.
