You'll be working a full-time schedule with shifts from Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This means you'll have a set routine, evenings off, and weekends free to recharge!
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AS A PLUMBING AND HVAC WAREHOUSE CLERK
As a Plumbing and HVAC Warehouse Clerk, you'll assist the Warehouse Manager in keeping our operations efficient and organized. You'll start the morning by receiving new shipments and making sure all materials are properly logged and stored. You'll pull inventory for plumbing and HVAC service trucks, ensuring our technicians have everything they need before they head out for the day. Throughout your shift, you'll also be responsible for ordering, picking up, and delivering parts to job sites as needed, so a valid driver's license is a must. You'll spend time handling metal work for HVAC systems and breaking down and processing scrap metal to keep our warehouse clean and organized. You'll also interact with technicians, staff, and vendors daily, keeping communication flowing to ensure smooth operations.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, bend, squat, be on your feet for 8 hours a day, and work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to operate small tools and equipment
- Ability to use a computer and inventory management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of plumbing or HVAC is ideal. Prior experience with inventory management systems or warehouse delivery is also preferred.
