Position: Behavioral Health Program Manager
Type: Full-Time, salary
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Behavioral Health Director to lead and oversee our Behavioral Health Program (BHP) within a skilled nursing facility. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive care to residents with behavioral symptoms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination: Supervise operations, schedules, and the overall effectiveness of the Behavioral Health Program.
- Staff Training: Ensure all staff are adequately trained to manage behavioral symptoms and deliver quality care.
- Assessment and Planning: Regularly assess residents' psychosocial needs and collaborate on developing individualized care plans.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with treatment teams and mental health practitioners to enhance resident care and program development.
- Emergency Response: Handle clinical emergencies and support regulatory compliance as needed.
- Business Development: Identify and maintain referral sources, and promote new behavioral health programs to stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a Human Services field and licensure preferred. Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related Human Services field required.
- State licensure, as applicable required.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Improvement process as well as state and federal regulations and surveys.
- Minimum 4 years of experience, providing direct professional services to persons with mental health or behavioral conditions in an interdisciplinary treatment setting.
