Indiana's 2024 apple season has started! Apple Works grows over 75 varieties of the best apples in the state. Come join our team. We are looking for employees who enjoy hands on, fast paced work in a fun environment. We hand pick all of our apples, hand grade, bag, prepare for wholesale, retail and bakery use. We are looking to add valuable team members in our grading room. The job entails use of a pallet jack, hydraulic lift, grading table equipment/conveyer, handling of apples, grading/sorting out apples for size, shape, color etc, use of sanitizer & cleaning supplies to keep room and equipment clean and sanitized, record keeping, communication with various staff members, lifting of up to 80 pounds, use of industrial stapler. On the job training will be provided for the right individuals. You will follow Produce Safety Alliance Grower guidelines.
Apple Season is from June through November. Our peak months require more hours; either longer shifts or weekends. This position can become more than seasonal if the right person is found. We offer other outdoor work during winter months relating to the upkeep, cleanliness and prepartion for the coming season.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
