Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years experience in government, government relations, or other advocacy/engagement roles at the state or local level.
- Experience working in/with executive and legislative offices and with extensive knowledge of the legislative process.
- Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events.
- The ability to travel extensively in the 50 states during the year and significant travel within your state territory. On average 2-5 trips per month during session.

- Experience advocating before states on behalf of Members, corporations, trade associations, or any other interest groups and leading engagement with key member organizations and related nonprofits.
- Knowledge of the policy issues relevant to Apple.
- Understanding of complicated technology issues and the ability to simplify them for non-technical audiences is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to concisely summarize sophisticated issues and policies to create advocacy points and strategy.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous work environment.
- Creative problem-solving history, ability to work collaboratively and under short timelines.
- Excellent leadership skills and professional presence.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and must enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Standout colleague and willingness to pitch in when needed.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,400 and $299,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
