What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Front Desk position at Applegate Medical Associates?
We are seeking a full time receptionist for our busy but small primary care clinic. Responsibilities include answering phones and creating messages, scheduling, or transferring caller to appropriate departments, confirming appointments and insurance eligibility, entering new patient packets, checking in patients, processing payments, and reviewing billing history as needed to answer any questions. Sanitizing work station and clipboards/pens, maintaining a clean workspace, and decorating lobby area appropriately based on season/holidays/or other events. Receptionist is also responsible for managing outgoing faxes, confirming their transmission was okay and if not, resend until confirmation is successful. Additional duties may be assigned for special projects.
Must have experience as a receptionist in the medical field.
The ideal candidate will have great typing and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Have experience and passion to work with the unhoused population, mentally ill, and the most at-risk in our community.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
