What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Branch Operations Specialist position at AppleOne Employment Services?

Key Responsibilities :

Branch Operations & Compliance

Schedule and manage branch staff to ensure proper coverage.
Maintain compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
Keep current with operational standards and review all branch documentation for accuracy.
Ensure the Branch Certification package is accurate and complete.
Oversee security procedures, including cash limits, keys, and alarm systems.
Handle daily operational duties such as file maintenance, overdraft reports, and transaction approvals.

Customer Service & Sales Support

Provide a positive customer experience, resolving account disputes with professionalism.

Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and conduct quality control reviews.

Assist with client retention activities alongside the Branch Manager.

Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products and services.

Leadership & Training

Supervise up to two branch employees, providing training, coaching, and development.

Assist with performance management, including mid-year and annual evaluations.

Recognize staff for outstanding customer service, sales, and operational excellence.

Manage employee schedules and confirm accurate timecards.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of banking experience (including 2 years in operations).

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a branch environment.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software.

Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and security procedures.

Notary Public certification preferred.
