In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing and managing various phases of client engagements, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. From planning logistics and evaluating internal controls to tracking budgets and overseeing audit programs, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality financial and operational reviews. Additionally, you will serve as a key point of contact for multiple clients, providing expert guidance while fostering strong relationships. A passion for mentorship and staff development is essential, as you will help train team members, offer constructive feedback, and collaborate with Partners to support professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate various phases of an engagement, including staff requirements, locations to be visited, job planning, and scheduling with the Partner.
• Plan the logistics of an engagement, including work to be performed by other departments.
• Study and evaluate the client’s internal controls and prepare or review the work program and time budget for Partner approval.
• Evaluate working papers to ensure engagements comply with accepted auditing standards or accounting principles.
• Assess audit risks and communicate potential risks to a Partner.
• Review, document, and evaluate internal controls.
• Track budget realization and overall time budgets.
• Oversee audit, review, and / or compilation work programs and provide guidance to staff.
• Prepare or review financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters for discussion with the Partner and client.
• Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients.
• Participate in staff development by training, providing constructive feedback, reviewing working papers, offering direct performance review feedback, and collaborating with Partners to identify staffing development areas.

Ideally this candidate will have 5 years of experience.
