Credit Card Litigation Support Specialist
Hourly Rate: $24.07 per hour
Location: 100% Onsite
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Credit Card Litigations Support Specialist to join our recovery department. In this role, you will handle and review credit card cases, collaborate with third-party law firms, and support the control step in the settlement review process. Your role will involve managing complex legal paperwork, performing root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This position requires strong time management skills and a deep understanding of civil procedure and credit card collections.
Desired Experience:
Precise and thorough in reviewing legal documents and maintaining accurate case files.
Root Cause Analysis: Ability to analyze issues and implement solutions.
Understanding of credit card collections processes, payment research, and relevant regulations.
Litigation Exposure: Familiarity with civil procedures and litigation processes, particularly within the credit card industry.
Experience working alongside third-party law firms for litigation and settlements.
Independent Work & Resourcefulness: Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and navigate challenges efficiently.
Skilled in using Adobe PDF, Excel, and other related software for document management and case tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned credit card cases, review documents, and process daily and weekly reports.
Scan and organize large volumes of legal documents, ensuring they are linked to the appropriate accounts and stored correctly in the system.
Serve as the final step in the recovery department’s settlement review process, ensuring cases are reviewed thoroughly before final settlement.
Work closely with third-party law firms to ensure proper handling of legal cases and compliance with civil procedures.
Investigate payment issues, conduct research, and resolve discrepancies in credit card case files.
The position is not customer-facing, but requires a high level of professionalism in managing internal processes and collaborating with external parties.
This is not an entry-level position, and applicants should have prior experience in legal paperwork, and credit card collections.
