Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Crimes Specialist to join our team, focusing specifically on contingent resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial crimes, fraud, operational risk, sanctions, or anti-bribery and corruption, with a strong ability to evaluate, analyze, and recommend solutions for low-to-moderately complex challenges. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, ensure compliance with policies, and support internal teams in managing financial crimes risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives related to financial crimes, with a specific focus on contingent resources.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within Financial Crimes functions.
Review and analyze tactical or basic financial crimes challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives.
Provide recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex financial crimes situations, exercising some independent judgment while adhering to compliance requirements.
Develop a thorough understanding of financial crimes functions, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Support personnel by providing relevant information and guidance regarding financial crimes matters.
Required Qualifications:
2 years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternatives and provide actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements and organizational policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
