Position : Hybrid (Up to 40% Travel within Local Market Area)
Salary : $88,000 - $90,000 Annual Bonus (Based on Experience)
About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled and committed Regional Human Resources Business Partner to manage day-to-day operations within our Employee Services Department across several market areas. This position will oversee roughly 350 employees per region and will handle payroll, ADP administration, leave management, employee relations, legal compliance, and more. Reporting to the Regional Director of Employee Services, the role is key to ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations in each designated area.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Oversight : Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for each market area by training on-site staff to submit payroll weekly / bi-weekly through ADP.
Leave of Absence Program : Manage the LOA program, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws for all employee leave-related matters.
Worker’s Compensation & Risk / Safety : Oversee the Worker’s Compensation program and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a safe work environment.
Employee Relations & Legal Compliance : Collaborate with site teams to address employee concerns and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including employee record management and offboarding.
Onboarding & Retention : Partner with site teams to deliver a top-notch onboarding experience for new hires and develop strategies to improve employee retention.
Reporting & Compliance : Track and report on essential HR metrics and compliance requirements to leadership, ensuring all sites meet labor law notices, training, and HR policy standards.
Management & Leadership Development : Lead the recruitment, training, and development of 12-14 administrative staff across multiple locations and states.
Benefits Administration : Oversee benefits administration through ADP, including ACA compliance, benefits tracking, and COBRA management.
Requirements :
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in managing HR functions like payroll, LOAs, Worker’s Compensation, and safety / risk programs. A minimum of 2 years of experience with California employment compliance.
ADP Experience : 2-3 years of experience with ADP payroll administration, including setup, reporting, and benefits management.
Education : Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Required); Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred).
Certifications : HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) is highly recommended.
Travel : Up to 40% travel within the market area, including overnight trips.
Location : Hybrid role; must be within driving distance of one of the local market locations.
