Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance and Commercial Real Estate Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in insurance, commercial real estate, and quality assurance, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills to support multiple functions and projects while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and assess insurance coverage on loans, ensuring compliance with company and agency standards.
Initiate and respond to communications with customers, insurance agents, external vendors, and internal teams regarding insurance coverage.
Conduct quality assurance and analytical reviews of documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to established criteria.
Review and validate loan data integrity reports for compliance with internal controls, policies, and agency regulations.
Deliver metric results and feedback to management and the team through weekly and monthly reporting.
Identify and recommend procedural improvements to enhance team efficiency and compliance.
Support management with various administrative functions and assist the Insurance Team with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Demonstrate expertise in Blanket Insurance, multi-layer insurance policies, and Self-Insured Retention programs.
Utilize strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues.
Desired Qualifications :
4 years of experience in the insurance industry.
3 years of experience in commercial real estate.
In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including industry terminology and related loan documents.
2 years of quality assurance experience, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Proven ability to deliver results in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze complex situations effectively.
Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a structured setting.
Proficiency in supporting multiple functions and managing simultaneous projects.
Familiarity with insurance programs such as Blanket Insurance and Self-Insured Retention policies.
