What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom Clerk position at AppleOne?
We are looking for a Mailroom Clerk to join our client located in Providence, RI.
Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5pm
Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Job Description:
Daily duties will include sorting mail, shelving packages, checking out packages at the front counter. On your feet for the majority of the 8 hour shift, must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Help from another team member when item is over 50lbs.
Great customer service skills are important.
Responsibilities:
Provides operations functions in one or all of the following areas:
- Sort mail and slot into designated mailboxes
- Shelve processed packages into designated areas of the facility
- Retrieve packages from various areas and check them out at the front counter
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires high school diploma, GED and 1 –2 years of experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
