We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage certified payroll and wage compliance for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing, adherence to federal and state wage laws, and compliance with union contracts and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and process certified payroll reports for construction projects.

Ensure wage compliance with union agreements, government contracts, and project requirements.

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.

Submit certified payroll reports to government agencies.

Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal wage regulations.

Track and maintain employee work hours, pay rates, and deductions.

Assist in internal and external payroll audits.

Collaborate with project managers and HR to ensure wage compliance.

Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.

Communicate with labor unions regarding wage rates and fringe benefits.

Qualifications :

3 years of payroll processing experience, focusing on construction projects and certified payroll compliance.

Strong understanding of prevailing wage laws and the Davis-Bacon Act.

Excellent attention to detail for accurate payroll processing and documentation.

Proficiency with payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and financial management tools.
