Top-ranked Albany firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their busy Real Estate and Finance group in their Albany office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality administrative and secretarial support in a timely manner, following firm policies and procedures. You will work with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal and administrative staff to service clients. The position requires an extraordinary level of discretion, attention to detail, listening, and organizational skills. To succeed, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial real estate, General obligation bond financings, Revenue bond financings and Commercial lease transactions. An associate’s degree in business administration or a related field is required, with a minimum of three years of experience as a secretary / administrative assistant. Familiarity with real estate and finance documents and procedures is preferred.
