About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Human Resources Business Partner to join our team and lead the day-to-day operations within the Employee Services Department for multiple market areas. This position will oversee approximately 350 employees in each region, with responsibilities spanning payroll, ADP administration, leaves of absence, employee relations, legal compliance, and more. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Employee Services, this role is crucial in managing HR operations and ensuring a smooth and compliant HR environment across the designated regions.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Oversight : Manage market payroll processes, including training site-level staff to ensure accurate and timely weekly / bi-weekly payroll submissions through ADP.
Leave of Absence Program : Lead the LOA program, ensuring adherence to state and federal compliance for all employee leave-related matters.
Worker’s Compensation & Risk / Safety : Oversee the Worker’s Compensation program and risk & safety initiatives, including compliance with regulations and promoting a safe workplace.
Employee Relations & Legal Compliance : Partner with site teams to resolve employee issues and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including employee records management and offboarding.
Onboarding & Retention : Work with site-level teams to provide an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires and develop strategies for employee retention.
Reporting & Compliance : Track and report key HR metrics and compliance requirements to leaders and operators, ensuring all sites comply with labor law notices, training, and HR policies.
Management & Leadership Development : Supervise, recruit, train, and develop a team of 12-14 administrative staff across multiple locations and states.
Benefits Administration : Oversee benefits administration through ADP, including ACA compliance, benefits tracking, and COBRA management.
Requirements : Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience managing HR functions including payroll, LOAs, Worker’s Compensation, and risk / safety programs.
At least 2 years of experience with California employment compliance.
2-3 years of ADP Payroll Administration experience, including setup, reporting, and benefits management.
Education :
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Required).
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred).
Certifications :
HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) is highly recommended.
Travel :
Up to 40% market area travel required, including overnight trips.
Location :
This is a hybrid position; the ideal candidate should be within driving distance of one of the local market area locations.
