To help accomplish this goal, Appleseed is seeking to fill a full-time position of Transitional Age Youth Liaison. We are looking for an energetic individual with good communication, time management, organizational, networking, and innovative problem-solving skills to work with young adults ages 16-24. This role will focus on assisting and supporting youth in their transition to independence and adulthood.

Responsibilities
- Case management
- Crisis management
- Housing search, placement, & ongoing support
- Employment search & support
- Budgeting
- Assisting individuals to develop daily living skills
- Assist individuals with developing communication and relationship skills
- Work with individuals on appropriate coping strategies
- Providing advocacy, assessment, linkage, monitoring, and support
- BA in related field preferred, HSD or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and insurance
- Pass background check & driving record check
- Pass drug screen
- Good time management skills
- Must be organizational and have good communication skills
- Previous experience working with high school-aged students, parents, school, and social service professionals around behavioral, emotional, and cognitive issues in a social service setting preferred
- Familiarity with Ashland County resources desired
- Majority of work provided in client homes, schools, or community sites
