Job Overview
Responsible, caring and trustworthy help wanted! Must enjoy working with children and have experience caring for infants. Looking to have 11am-5pm covered at least 3 days per week, but flexible with other hours. Starting pay is $15-17 hour based on experience, education and training. Must be 18 and willing to complete CPR/First Aid and online orientation classes. Clean, positive, sunny home environment and rewarding, enjoyable work!
Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
- Implement activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Provide nurturing care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents.
- Collaborate to create a cohesive team approach.
- Support children’s emotional and social development by providing guidance in conflict resolution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare, nannying, or babysitting.
- Knowledge of infant care practices and toddler development.
- Experience working with students or in classroom settings is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers and communicate effectively with parents.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage but not mandatory at the time of application; training can be provided.
