About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading cGMP, Life Sciences, and Mission Critical projects through planning, execution, and closeout. This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing (including peptide manufacturing), cleanroom environments, and high-tech facilities. The selected candidate will oversee project teams, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure that projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
This position also offers a clear pathway to a Project Executive role for individuals with extensive experience in cGMP, Healthcare, or Mission Critical projects, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership on single or multiple cGMP / Life Sciences projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Serve as the cGMP subject matter expert, particularly for large-scale or complex projects.
- Work in collaboration with the Project Executive and leadership team to develop, manage, and execute project strategies.
- Lead teams in Project Document & Data Management (PDDM), CQV/TOP documentation, and validation procedures specific to cGMP environments.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- Drive budget, scheduling, and forecasting efforts to maintain profitability and project success.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client and industry relationships, supporting business development efforts.
- Ensure that all construction activities align with cGMP processes, procedures, and validation requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior project managers, engineers, and field personnel, fostering a high-performing team.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on cGMP, Life Sciences, or Mission Critical projects.
- At least 5 years of experience with a general contractor or construction manager.
- Experience managing at least one (1) peptide manufacturing facility project preferred.
- Expertise in CQV/TOP procedures and validation processes required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-level projects while driving quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
