Warehouse Lead

Appliance Direct is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Lead to oversee the operations of our warehouse. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and safety
• Manage and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
• Analyze and optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve productivity

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in warehouse management software
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed
• Forklift certification is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
